Lomond Improvements? Don't bother. You will NOT get what you pay for. You can NOT rely on them. But you will get empty promises, delays, and more delays. You will finally get shoddy incomplete work, with faults and damage. When you have a problem or complaint, you will get insincere excuses - if they bother to contact you. And you will get more delays. You will not get the work finished to your satisfaction. You will not get competence. You will not get accountability. You can not trust this *John Wayne* outfit. Don't throw your money away. Don't be played for an eejit. Shop around in your area - find a reputable and reliable LOCAL company to do your work instead.

Where do I start with this shower if inept c0wboys. First while putting up the scaffolding they managed to smash my 80 year old fathers conservatory roof, they then tried to bully him into starting the job before they fixed the gaping hole in his conservatory, luckily although my father is 80, he is no shrinking violet and told them under no circumstances were they starting until it was fixed. The "manager" and I use that term loosely shouted at my father that they would be starting and his men would be starting regardless of what my father thought, you can imagine how that went down and told him forceably that they were not under any circumstances starting before they fixed their mistake. We had to repair the botch job they did on the conservatory as the rain was coming in and he invited Lonmond to look at the patchwork job they had done on the conservatory and explained his position. The manager declined and was not interested and only wanted his men on and off the job so Lomond could get the money from my father. They then wanted my father to speak to the companies they had subcontracted the work to to organise the delay, again he was savvy enough to tell them that his contract was with them and it is was not his job to run around and manage their sub-contractors. It took 4 weeks for the conservatory roof to get fixed (mixup in glass sizes), which to be fair was not Lomonds fault. However they left the job with all the gutters not connected to the downpipe as there was a two inch gap and also they had not replaced some old boards around the chimney. They just left the site and disappeared. My father then had to speak to someone at Lomond to get them to fix it, at this point they noted they had to come back and had forgot to tell my father they were coming back. It was also noted that they had broken a bracket on the neighbours gutter. They came back and fixed the two inch gap on the gutter and explained why they could not replace the boards, all of which was accepted by my father but they have still not fixed the broken bracket nor cleaned up all they mess they left behind including a large plank of wood they broke during changing the roof and the have just left it lying in my fathers neighbours garden. This is a real life review and believe it or not only a summary of the issues that were encountered, we are in Irvine and I am more than happy for you to leave a comment and I will reach out with the whole story but I cannot stress this enough - if you want to avoid stress please, please AVOID LOMOND LIKE THE PLAGUE
