Appalling service. I had used the company many years ago and found them excellent. Last year we ordered a complete refit of our Windows. Once our deposit was paid they cancelled the fitting date with no communication. It was scheduled to take 4 days and now 7 months later I still have two defective windows. I always have to chase as no communication is forthcoming. I have been lied to by The manager on numerous occasions. I was promised a partial refund in November and I am now having to seek this via small claims court ... I have no guarantee either .One example of not shopping local ! No one has been in touch with me since November.
In January we contacted the company for a quote , after three left messages someone eventually turned
up and quoted a price. We placed an order , then started to chase company . We eventually went into the shop to find out when the glass was being fitted only to be told the person who measured up had left and there was no quote to be found. So once again after much chasing another person from the same company came round and gave another quote and guess what after much chasing and leaving our number and name and going into the shop not one person has ever rang back. The lack of communication and professionalism is outstanding. In Rainham we are advised to support the community and shop locally but unfortunately the service not provided in this shop proves why you need to go further afield.I would like to think this was a once off but we went to the shop about 4 years ago and the same thing happened we thought we would give them another try but it looks like nothings changed. I will be taken my business elsewhere
Beware particularly if you are an OAP as this company prey on old people and have no scruples. Replacement windows not sealed properly resulting in constant condensation within a couple of months of being fitted. Constantly hung up when I tried to call to resolve the matter. A receipt was not provided limiting my consumer rights. After 2 years of attempting to resolve the situation I have had to pay for a further set of windows. Would not recommend this company. Poor quality and appalling customer service.
Well, where to start! Fitters were good but communication was appalling. I had my windows fitted in April & one was cracked so a replacement was ordered & I was advised it would take about a week. After several phone calls & broken promises, it was finally refitted approx 6 weeks later, and I was advised that the invoice and guarantee would follow. Again after several frustrating phone calls & e-mails I finally received my invoice about 6 weeks ago (well a letter with about one line of writing on anyway!) and guess what....yes still waiting for the guarantee.!!!
My contact with The Glass House was Ross Billings, he was a pleasure to do business with. The fitters Rob and Paul were very professional and did did their work in a calm, methodical and exact manner, I was very impressed with the result. I intend to use The Glass House for my other rented apartments double glazing in the future.

We were burgled and needed a patio door.
Instead of opening on right side it was wrongly ordered to open on the left.
The door is locking but there is a gap.
Very poor reponse to get this looked at.
Very poor communication.
Still waiting for receipt .
Don't think this will ever get looked at !!!

I had two windows fitted just before Christmas, I was very pleased with the service I received in the shop from Ross and Dave, and the fitters were excellent and carried out first class service in my installation. They cleaned up all the mess and were courteous at all times. I will be having some more work done later in the year by The Glass House and would highly recommend them for their helpfulness and professionalism. This is not your typical double glazing company where a salesman calls and does not leave till you sign up, these are honest local people providing a very good service. Highly recommended
Really awful fitting and will not sort out problems once they get your money.avoid .spent over 4000 and sold me a warped door that wont shut properly .gonna try courts to sort these cowboys out. Had manufacturer down and he was shocked how poor the fitting was.avoid.avoid
