I have read the last review and completely sympathise with her because the experience I have had with Win Designs was by far the worst I have had in a reasonably long career in property. I was doing a larger renovation and they did the windows, bi-folds and sky lights. They were great at selling at the beginning to get the job. However their execution wasn't just appalling, but it risked being dangerous to my family given they delayed the project for so many months that my house was left boarded up with plastic sheets approaching winter last year. When I, and my family, rang repeatedly to ask them for dates, they refused to set dates of completing the jobs. On numerous times they resorted to absolute abuse to me and even my mum, who is over 60 years old, who simply was trying to help while I was away. Who abuses a retirement age woman? It was only when we threatened legal action, which was a real threat and I did have to go to Citizens Advice and was next to go through the small claims court, that they then set a date. However, this job was meant to take 6 or so weeks, comfortably shorter than the rest of the construction, but instead they delayed the entire job by many months and I was without a normal house to live in for more than 6 months, with a very young baby, and Win did not show any sign of caring whatsoever. Once it was installed, there were then leaks due to the sky lights. I warned them straight away and they did not set a date. I contacted them many times, and am still contacting them, and they have still not come round to repair the problem. this problem has now caused damage to my ceiling surrounding the sky lights. And after months of waiting, they still have not even shown the decency to come and look at it. Their response is consistently that someone needs to be doing a job in the area for them to get there. I am in disbelief. The day they finally said they would come around, low and behold their van allegedly breaks down. This company is disgraceful and I sympathise with anyone who has had problems. Do not fall for the sales tactics, and please pay slightly more for a reputable brand. Another point is that Win Designs is simply a middle man. They do not manufacture and therefore with issues, they simply blame the manufacturer. It is not hard to guess that their manufacturers probably have issues with them as well.

I ordered uPVC sash windows and a front door from Adeel and his team because he offered the most competitive price. I now wish I'd just paid the extra £1000 for a reputable company. In other words, I would literally pay a grand to have never met Adeel. - There were two occasions when I stayed home from work to oversee the fitting and no one showed up. The first time the excuse was that I had only been tentatively put in the diary (this had not been made apparent to me) - yet if it was tentative, why did no one call me to cancel/confirm? The second time, because Darren had once estimated the job would take two days (Adeel had said three), I was supposed to know that this meant after those two days the fitters would just stop showing up regardless of what state my house was in or that they had said they would be back the next day. No sane person would assume this; I'm not a mind reader. - My windows were left in this unfinished and not airtight state for two weeks, during which time my house was freezing cold and full of flies. In no trade is it acceptable start on other clients' jobs while one is still unfinished. - There was a general lack of communication: I wasn't told that my door had actually been returned to the manufacturer twice and delayed my job, multiple times Adeel would say one thing and his colleague Darren would say another, and the number of times I had to ask Darren to call me back and he just never did was astounding. - When the windows/door did arrive they were not to my specifications: the door lock was different to what I asked for, the bathroom windows were both frosted even though I'd asked for only one very specifically on several occasions, and the door handles had a chrome finish when I'd asked for matt. - The fitters got mud on my brand new carpet and then, while trying to clean it, mangled it beyond repair. Adeel then refused to reimburse me and ignored my calls/letters when I tried to ask. - The fitters tried to pull a fast one on me by saying I had to go and buy caulk and finish the sanding and sealing myself, which I then did on 2 out of 5 of the windows before I complained and Adeel sent them back. - Finally, my job was finished two months after the date I said was the latest I needed them. Even after I had put my order in Adeel insisted he was confident this date could be met. Whenever I tried to voice my concerns Adeel was slippery and sometimes threatening; genuinely unpleasant to deal with. The one positive I can say is that this was around 8 months ago and the windows have been solid and in perfect working order since then, meaning that I probably never have to speak to Adeel again.

From my initial enquired , through to the survey, then the installation ,all done on time stated , and with a very friendly and professional team, and with all windows installed I am very pleased with the end result, superb looking Windows I'v had many compliments from neighbours , Thank you Windesign.
