Had new windows fitted to match chartwell green door .Very happy with stable door. Nov2021 came to fit windows 3hrs late after promised to be early.Rang up to see if they were on way was told in next village 10 mins away they were on the way to my house as said they arrived 3hrs later. Next day hours late again after told would be here first thing in morning. The fitter was a nice lad he had brought another companion with him who wasn’t employed by the firm.This other gentle man kneeled on my draining board to get at window in kitchen and has bent it so now I have a large dip in middle.Was told later he should have used a board. I did tell fitter what he had done. After they finished windows noticed bathroom window wasn’t straight not a little but a lot.Rang to report waited for someone to ring back nothing rang again spoke to another person was told passed on to fitter who would contact us to come back .A few weeks went past heard nothing had to ring several times to find out as it’s not up to us to chase fitter it’s the firms responsibility.When eventually was contacted I learnt fitter no longer worked with them .They sent two people out and I must say what nice guys and they took the time to right the problem couldn’t fault them only wished they had come at the start.They were told to take photo of bent draining board I didn’t except it to be replaced but a sorry this should not have happened would of been nice. I must say had new windows around 14 yrs ago same firm no problems at all.Just wish it went as smooth this time. Communication wasn’t as it should have been could have been better.
