Needed 13 ridge tiles re-bedded/renewed to cure a leak. On 4th August 'Michael' from Acton Roofing called round and gave a quote, adding that he would do it on a dry day. Later, quote was confirmed via text, and replied giving the go ahead. After many dry days, heard nothing more for weeks, so sent a text to 'Michael' on 31st Aug. He replied saying he would do the work one day that week, weather permitting. By 9th Sept (today) hadn't heard any more from him. After many dry days since 4th Aug work still hasn't been done. I decided to employ a more reliable firm and sent 'Michael' a text to cancel the job. He replied saying that he can't control the weather. Note - in an adjacent street to me 2 semi-detached houses have had entire new roofs fitted in the last 2/3 weeks, by a different firm. Also, two of my neighbours have just had new roofs fitted. The work started Sunday 6th Sept, and is being finished today. Acton Roofing - proved to be a total waste of my time.

Very poor workmanship, they charged £650 for labour for a job that took half a day, would definitely not recommend. When asked for a breakdown of the bill, he would not provide one. And got very nasty when queried it. Use at your own risk.

Michael of acton roofing did a fantastic job putting a new roof on my house and rerendering my house cleaned all the rubbish away, and turned up when he said he would. Would definitely use his company again. Brilliant job done.
