Firstly I would like to point out that the date on the invoice is incorrect - should read 13th January 2023.
I was very please with the work carried out on the roof line, fascias and gutters. The workmen were professional and tidy led by Mark.
However, a different story for the work carried out by the workmen led by Steve, to put a new door, new window and glass replacement in. The workmanship was unprofessional and untidy. A lot of nails and screws and other rubble was left around the door and window outside and in the gravel on the driveway and although they were asked to come and tidy up the next day , I was still picking up screws etc.
Recently, I had to replace a car tyre that had a long screw in it and to this day I am still finding screws in the gravel on my driveway.
I would not recommend Steve to anyone.
I instructed John to replace fascias, soffits and guttering and re-lead a roof. After two days I was asked to agree that the work quoted for was complete and I was happy. Unfortunately only 3/4 of the work had been completed, this was blamed as miscommunication. John advised that the work would be completed on the third day and telephoned that evening to say the full amount was due. He also started giving me unwanted information about other disgruntled customers. On the fourth day I received a telephone call from my daughter at home distressed that two men were trying to break into my back garden. I telephoned John to ask why he was trying illegally to gain access to my property, he advised that the work wasn't complete and he was trying to enter to complete it. The lead was simply taped over rather than re-dressed and sealed. I would not recommend his company to anyone.
We engaged Pro-Fascia to replace all of our doors, windows and garage doors, the price was competitive but alarm bells started ringing when they didn't turn up as agreed on several occasions. Some of the new windows had to be removed and re-fitted because they had forgot to fit the window cills as per the contract, prior to replacing the windows. The job rolled on a lot longer than we were given to expect as three of the windows were found to be cracked on delivery; they ran out of window cills; they had forgot to order the corner "horns". The front door was very difficult to lock and unlock and it took several visits, plus several "no-shows" by Pro-Fascia before it was rectified. One of the garage doors would not shut easily and despite several visits over the last 6 months, it is still not fixed, so we cannot use it. We have a "wobbly" window handle in the bathroom, which again has not been rectified several months after installation. We have been promised many times over the last two months that a fitter would visit to rectify our problems but they have always given excuses as to why they cannot attend at the last moment.
